Why was it recalled?

Aurobindo Pharma USA Inc. initiated the recall September 18, 2026, after complaints about discoloration. The FDA record reviewed for this notice had not yet assigned a risk classification. The record does not establish a cause of the discoloration or a confirmed injury total.

What should you do?

Set aside a matching bottle, even if the tablets you can see appear normal. Keep the label and lot details, and contact Amazon or a pharmacist for next steps. Ask about an unaffected alternative if you need pain or fever relief; do not replace it with multiple medicines that contain the same ingredient.

FDA’s acetaminophen information explains why following the label and avoiding duplicate acetaminophen-containing products matters. This recall concerns selected bottles, not all acetaminophen.
